Orsingher Ortu – Avvocati Associati advises Espansione and Mediapason before the Council of State on LCN channel numbering

A team from Orsingher Ortu – Avvocati Associati comprising Carlo Edoardo Cazzato and Fabrizio Sanna, together with Marta Bianchi and Sofia Occhipinti, advised Espansione S.r.l. and Mediapason S.p.A. in two proceedings before the Council of State concerning the allocation of automatic channel numbering for digital terrestrial television (Logical Channel Numbering) in the technical areas of Lombardy and eastern Piedmont.

At the conclusion of the proceedings, the administrative court of second instance dismissed all the objections raised on the merits, confirming the full legitimacy of the allocation of LCN no. 14 to Espansione S.r.l. and LCN no. 11 to Mediapason S.p.A.
