On descriptiveness under Article 7(1)(c) of\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/eur-lex.europa.eu\/eli\/reg\/2017\/1001\/oj\/eng\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Regulation (EU) 2017\/1001 of 14 June 2017 on the European Union\u00a0trademark<\/a>\u00a0(<em>EUTMR<\/em>), the GB\u00a0found that both signs\u00a0are descriptive since they\u00a0constitute\u00a0<em>\u201ccommon knowledge\u201d<\/em>\u00a0among the relevant public as titles of George Orwell\u2019s novels and that they describe the thematic content of the relevant goods and services.
