The most interesting article you have written:

The most interesting article I have written on the manipulation of Euribor (Newsletter n. 96 – May 2024), the main reference rate on the international money markets, particularly in relation to bank loans and involving some of the most important financial institutions internationally. The case, which has had a decisive impact on the banking landscape, has raised important questions regarding the validity of loans concluded between 2005 and 2008 and containing a clause fixing interest on the basis of the Euribor rate. The Supreme Court has ruled on several occasions, without reaching any clear conclusions. In fact, on 19 July 2024, the First Section of the Supreme Court, disagreeing with the previous orientation of the Third Section, referred the issue to the Joint Sections of the Supreme Court with its order no. 19900/2024, since it concerns a question of interpretation of legal rules for which there is a need for uniform orientation. Pending the Joint Section’s pronouncement, the issue is still being evaluated and hotly debated.
