CAPITAL MARKETS | MoU between Consob and the Bank of Italy on ADR Mechanisms reached

The Italian Companies and Stock Exchange Commission (Consob) and the Bank of Italy have signed a new Memorandum of Understanding (Mou) aiming to strengthen the cooperation between the Banking and Financial Arbitrator (Arbitro Bancario Finanziario) and the Arbitrator for Financial Disputes (Arbitro per le Controversie Finanziarie) in order to pursue a higher and more effective level of investor protection. The new MoU promotes the exchange of information amongst the two alternative dispute resolution mechanisms on topics of mutual interest and on coordination methods useful in steering investors towards the identification of the competent body.
