Elena Marchetto graduated in law with honours in 2006 at Bocconi University, with a dissertation in Italian procedural law titled: “Legislative Decree n. 40/2006 and effects of the arbitral award”, that was awarded by Associazione Italiana per l’Arbitrato (A.I.A.). Before joining Orsingher Ortu she worked for Pojaghi & associati, where she gained experience on copyright law, civil and commercial law, and for Bonelli Erede Pappalardo in the intellectual property department, where she assisted clients in the matters of intellectual property law, IT, data protection, unfair competition, advertising and consumer law. She also worked as corporate counsel in a local company operating in the agricultural sector. She contributed to IP specialized legal reviews and contributes to “Commentario breve alla legislazione sugli appalti pubblici e privati”, published by CEDAM. She was admitted to the Italian Bar in 2010. She speaks English.
