Olga Sihtar speaker at RioMarket – Festival do Rio

Olga Sihtar took part as a speaker in the panel “Regulatory Models for the Development of the Audiovisual Industry”, organized within RioMarket, the business and legal section of the Festival do Rio – Rio de Janeiro International Film Festival.

The panel, moderated by Marcelo Goyanes (Murta Goyanes Advogados) and featuring Gabriela Thomazini (O2 Filmes) and Debora Ivanov (Gullane Entretenimento), addressed the evolution of Brazil’s audiovisual regulatory framework, with the aim of attracting international investment while supporting the growth of local independent producers.
In her contribution, Olga offered a comparative perspective on the European and Italian models, focusing in particular on AVMS rules and the Italian Tax Credit system – key tools for strengthening independent production while encouraging foreign investment in the national audiovisual sector.

Her participation in RioMarket represented a valuable opportunity for international dialogue on the future of the audiovisual industry.
